The world famous ship Costa Concordia is seen half-submerged off the west coast of Italy after it
struck a stony reef. According to the officials, six people are identified to
have died and expect was vanishing that rescuers would find any of the lasting
29 people believed missing.
The ship
carried about 4,200 passengers and team and entered service in 2006 for Costa
Cruises, which is owned by Miami-based Carnival Cruise Lines.
A person
rescued from the Costa Concordia is lifted into a
helicopter with the help of Italian emergency people after the cruise ship ran
aground off the west coast of Italy at Giglio island Friday night The master of
the cruise ship, Capt. Francesco Schettino, is accused of failure to offer support
and desertion of ship.
