EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Emergency supplies made their way to the Tri-State this weekend to be used in the event of a disaster.
Natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina or the earthquake in Haiti have opened our eyes to the tragedy of people not receiving adequate medical attention quickly enough.
That's why some Indiana emergency agencies said they're not taking any chances in the worst case scenarios.
In the wake of an emergency, medical treatments are a top priority. But during these critical moments, enough supplies can be hard to come by.
"Now we’ve those things to help us respond as quick as possible," said Sherman Greer, the director of the Vanderburgh County Emergency Management Agency.
